"At about the time of this drawing, I was monkeying around with a single panel cartoon titled Pole to Pole. Being a huge fan of Gary Larsons’ Far Side, I attempted to enter that field. I received a bucket-full of rejections, and eventually abandoned the project." - Rodney Marchetti
